Pastor Michael Herron received the call of God after seven years of faithful service in youth ministry and worship at Believers International Church. Obedient to the voice of God, he and First Lady Mal planted Purpose Church of Denton beginning with a single home Bible study.

On their very first night, Pastor Mike was led to deliver a word about Purpose — and Purpose Church was born. His anointed leadership, heart for people, and uncompromising commitment to the Word of God have guided Purpose Church through over a decade of Spirit-filled ministry and growth.
